Reserve your Night Life tickets in advance and see what’s revealed once the sun goes down. With over 40,000 live animals, two new exhibits, reserved entry to the iconic Shake House and four-story Rainforest, and outdoor dining beneath the stars the night is sure to be wild. 


Aquarium of the Bay

Discover the beauty and diversity of Northern California aquatic life at the Aquarium of the Bay. A fun experience for kids of all ages.

Location: Oracle Park in the SoMa District

Baseball season is in full swing and SF Giants games are some of the most popular San Francisco events in August. This month, they play thirteen home games. They play host to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and the San Diego Padres.

Two day on August 27 & 28 and runs from 11 am – 5 pm both days. Location:  Grant Avenue in the heart of Chinatown.


This colorful event features a parade, live entertainment, arts & crafts, and a variety of food and drinks

The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is a California-certified farmer’s market operated by the nonprofit Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA). The market is widely acclaimed for both the quality and diversity of its fresh farm products, and artisan and prepared foods.

Grand Lake Farmers Market

The Oakland farmers market is open every Saturday, year-round, rain or shine, from 9am to 2pm. The Market features over 40 local farmers, 30 specialty food purveyors, and a handful of local artisans.


Waterfront Flicks at Jack London Square


Thursday nights on the Marina Lawn located near Channel House Apartments for June & July Movie Nights. Bring a blanket, a lawn chair, and some take-out from any of your favorite Jack London Square restaurants!


Art and Soul 2022- 20th Anniversary Celebration

You can also head across the bay to catch a game with the Oakland A’s. In August they play 15 home games. Teams visiting this month include the New York Yankees, the San Francisco Giants, and the Seattle Mariners.

The seasonal impact on the market is as you might expect, a little slower. With many leaving on vacations, the number of homes on and coming to market reduces and open houses aren’t as packed. That doesn’t mean the market is on vacation though; quite the opposite! There's a wave of new buyers entering the market alongside those already in the market.
